After a very important win against AC Milan, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti stopped by RAI in order to give his comments about tonight’s incredible clash against AC Milan.

“This was a great game, thanks to the both sides of the fans. Thanks to all the fans who attended and the atmosphere they created this was a derby to remember. The Inter fans are truly the best, they supported us at the Pinetina and followed us to the stadium.”

Another big match from Icardi?

“He is such a great player who takes responsibility, but even though he is young he carries this team. Now he works for the team, and his goals unites the team. The second half was difficult, first half Inter played really well, but then Montella changed his tactics. After a while we managed to organize our defense, I did not like the 2-2 equaliser from Milan. When Eder entered the pitch we got better, we would have accepted another result and I think Montella is satisfied with the result although Milan lost. This was a step forward for them”.

About the penalty?

“I prefer not to comment on the episodes commented by Montella, because I respect him as a man and as a professional. I prefer to talk about the yellow cards not given to Milan”.

Joao Cancelo?

“There was a lot of talk about the message that Joao Cancelo brought on to the pitch. I tried to communicate my thoughts but was not able to do that so I gave Cancelo a piece of paper where my tactics was summarised. Gagliardini read the note and everything improved. Now we face Napoli, a really good team that has played togther for such a long time. Sarri has constructed an amazing team that could go for the Scudetto, although it is too early to talk about that. Next Sunday we will go to San Paolo in order to win and the guys are prepared for that. I have a really good team but there is still some work to do in order to make them a championship team.”
