Interviewed by FOXSports.com.br , Inter target and Jiangsu star Alex Teixeira was discussing his current time in the China league, on rumblings from interest in clubs such as Inter Milan and his potential return to his roots at Vasco Da Gama.

On China League “People believe that the level of play in China League is low but it is the complete opposite.  There are many players here that could easily play in Brazil or in other leagues of importance in Europe.  I believe that the Chinese league is a great showcase for players.  Look at Paulinho for example, after coming to the Chinese league e continued to play in the National Team and he’s been acquired by Barcellona with a big contract.  Think that the negative talk behind the league is behind us, I’m very happy here.”

On interest from Inter “It’s always pleasant to be observed and desired by other clubs.  It makes you see that you are doing well at your job.  I’ve been one to just go with the flow and not force anything.  If the offers arrive then the people responsible of handling those duties will come to me and advise me best.  My goal is to just perform on the pitch.”

On willing to go back to Vasco Da Gama “I always miss Vasco, especially when I watch them on t.v.  It’s only natural there will be a time where I go back.  Vasco is always my 1st choice especially what they did for me as a young boy and onwards.  In Europe, I dream that I will have a chance to play in Premier League.”
