After weeks of jeers and whistles, the Nerazzurri faithful once again are in love with Antonio Candreva following his exploits in the 3-2 Milan derby win at the weekend. It is hard to imagine the jeers and whistles restarting with fans love for the Italian winger seemingly at its highest after his performance in the derby according to Corriere dello Sport.

While fans have their doubts about Candreva from time to time, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti never doubts the 30-year-old.

After eight Serie A matchdays Candreva has attempted 56 crosses, an average of 7 per game – the highest across the league but he has just a 18% success rate when it comes to finding someone. While he is yet to score this term, he has got three assists.

Moreover, Inter as a team have attempted the second most crosses in Europe with 164 with only Real Madrid having more attempts with 167.
