Torino defender Lyanco is fired up for their game against second placed Inter in the Serie A.

The Serbian-Brazilian defender who has represented Brazil at U20 level, was interviewed via the Turin club’s official channel, Torino Channel, ahead of tomorrow’s lunchtime Serie A fixture against the Nerazzurri at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district in front of over 73,000 spectators:  “I am so excited to be back. I hope I can play tomorrow. I’m happy to be here with the team. I am 100% fit.”

Lyanco Evangelista Silveira Neves Vojnović, as his full name is, joined Torino this season from Brazilain Serie A side Sao Paulo whom he spent three seasons with, featuring 25 times and getting on the scoresheet once in the process and was part of the Brazilian club’s U20 team that won the Copa Libertadores in 2016.

Lyanco, who has also represented Serbia at U19 international level and is eligable to play for both countries should he be called on, has featured twice this season for Torino.
