After having helped his team take all three points at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district against Atalanta, Davide Santon stopped by InterTV to share his thoughts on the win.

“It is always difficult to play against Atalanta but I am very happy because I had not played a full 90 minutes for over a year. It has been very tough but it is also beautiful to return with a win and going up to second place in the league standings” Santon began.

The former Newcastle full-back continued by praising Inter coach Luciano Spalletti revealing that “I have a great relationship with the coach, I know that tonight things went well but I also know that I have to do more. We gave a great performance, managing also not to concede a goal against a team that scores a lot. They are a very physical team, we suffered in some situations but that can also be normal. We are improving day after day, working to improve from every aspect.”
