Shortly after the final whistle at the Allianz Stadium after the 0-0 draw away against Juventus, Borja Valero reflected on the game in an interview with Premium Sport.

We saw an Inter that looked a bit afraid tonight, is this a step backwards?

“We were never afraid, we came here to win. For the first thirty minutes we had the sole possession of the ball, but we lacked a bit of killer instinct when in attack in order to create opportunities to score. But we came here to win.”

So this was a positive reaction?

“There is still a long way to go, we sum everything up after the final game but we are on the right path. Now we have the Coppa Italia and then another game in the league. We have to continue on this positive path.”

There were not many chances for Icardi, Spalletti wanted you to involve him more.

“Like always, we try to give him the passes that he wants, because there in the attack there is no one like him. Today we did not, but we can not stop now.”

Did the momentum in the standings change?

“It did not before and it will not change now, no stress, there are still a lot of games to be played.”
