Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo is expected to miss at least a month of action after suffering a thigh injury while youngster Simone Palombi picked up an injury in training this week which has ruled him out of Saturday’s affair. Options up top are severely limited and could cost Lazio dearly in their and Inter’s final game of 2017.
The injuries to Caicedo and Palombi aside, the only other injury that Inzaghi has to contend with is defensive midfielder Davide Di Gennaro. The 29-year-old has been sidelined for well over a month, missing the last nine fixtures that the Biancocelesti have played.
