Ahead of Saturday evening’s fixture away to Inter, Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi has an emergency in attack with no less than two players confirmed out RadioSei detail.
Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo is expected to miss at least a month of action after suffering a thigh injury while youngster Simone Palombi picked up an injury in training this week which has ruled him out of Saturday’s affair. Moreover, star man Ciro Immobile is struggling for fitness ahead of the match which is crucial for both clubs Champions League qualification ambitions. Options up top are severely limited and could cost Lazio dearly in their and Inter’s final game of 2017.
The injuries to Caicedo and Palombi aside, the only other injury that Inzaghi has to contend with is defensive midfielder Davide Di Gennaro. The 29-year-old has been sidelined for well over a month, missing the last nine fixtures that the Biancocelesti have played.
He will just play Alberto partnered with Anderson. Chill put
As a side note got to say S Inzaghi is on his way to be coming a great coach, changes his systems, personnel and Lazio having been on a upsurge since he’s been in charge, even though he’s spent miserly his record is really good. I hope Spalletti stays as long as the results keep coming.
They might win on Sunday but I’m sure that we in the long run will end in 4th. Lazio are playing more or less the same lineup (like us) in every single game and don’t have much to pick from in the bench (like us), but unlike us they will have to spend a lot of energy on European football in the spring and are still in the Coppa where they are facing a super motivated Milan side.
Whereas we only have to think about playing one game per week now.
Doesn’t matter. They are still gonna win
I’m afraid so too
Hmmmm, taking Inter for a ride, ha…. We are gonna win this game, Sansiro is not a joke. Lazio should be ready for the fight of their life tomorrow.
you’re wrong
