Former Inter and AS Roma Romanian defender Christian Chivu was interviewed by Il Messaggero about the upcoming clash in the Serie A between his two former teams this Sunday at 20.45 CET at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
The former Ajax defender began by stating that “it will be an exciting match for sure. Inter and Roma are two great teams, they are competing with Lazio the qualification in the Champions League. Juventus and Napoli are currently ahead of them. For Inter and Roma it is essential to finish in top 4 and qualify for next year’s UCL.
“The Nerazzurri are more organized than they used to be in the past. Spalletti is a very good coach, who is amazing in almost all aspects of the game. He has a clear idea about how his team needs to attack and defend. Obviously he still has a lot of job to be done. He still has a lot to offer to his players. I think Spalletti has developed his way of thinking after coming back to Italy. He adds a whole new perspective in the game” Chivu concluded.
