Ramires spoke to Globo Esporte on the January transfer window which saw him heavily linked with a switch to Inter.

“There were many clubs in Europe interested in me like Inter. Jiangsu had the power to decide and opted to keep me. Now I am focused on giving my best for the club, only God knows what will happen in the future.”

The Brazilian went on to discuss the possibility of a return to his homeland.

“A return to Brazil One day will happen. Everyone knows how much I love Cruzeiro and Joinville. They are clubs that helped me a lot at the beginning, where everyone was great with me. If I had the chance to come back, they would be my favourite clubs as would Flamengo. We talked a lot about them: it was my childhood club and the one supported by my family, but there is nothing concrete.”
