Speaking to Argentine station Radio Citrica, Racing Club striker Lautaro Martinez discusses his imminent move to Inter. While remaining respectful to his current club, the Argentine does not hide that the deal with the Nerazzurri is complete.

“I have not signed my contract with Inter yet, nor have I completed my medical. I would have liked to remain with Racing until December, but Inter have offered an important sum of money to have me. President Victor Blanco would not have been an easy person for them to negotiate with – he only wants the best for Racing. Speaking with my agents, we agreed that my talents are better suited to the Italian league rather than the German one.”

Speaking about his agents, the Argentine went on to clarify his representation.

“My agent is Beto Yaque, and he has been so since he found me in Bahia Blanca. I also work with Rolando Zarate.”
