Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will have to face Udinese away at the Dacia Arena on Sunday’s Serie A early 12.30 CET kick-off fixture, with a reduced squad.

With Roberto Gagliardini injured as well as Matias Vecino and Danilo D’Ambrosio suspended, Spalletti is forced to make two changes to the lineup that started against Juventus last Saturday. In midfield Rafinha, Brozovic and Borja Valero are expected to start, but Spalletti is yet to decide who he will choose for the left back position, as his choices are Davide Santon or Henrique Dalbert.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Spalletti is leaning towards selecting Santon over the Brazilian full-back. According to the report, Spalletti prefers Santon over Dalbert despite the Italian full-back’s mistakes against Juventus.

Inter are trailing Lazio in fourth spot by four points and are still with a chance of overtaking the Biancocelesti in the race to qualify for the group stages of next season’s Champions League but have zero margin of error against an Udinese who are only three points above the relegation zone.
