Matteo Darmian, Sime Vrsaljko and Davide Zappacosta are the three names on Inter’s right back shortlist according to a report from Sky Sport Italia.
With Inter choosing not to take up their purchase option on Joao Cancelo, who now seems set for a move to rivals Juventus, Inter are on the look out for a suitable replacement for the Portuguese, who spent last season on loan at the San Siro from Spanish club Valencia.
Manchester United’s Darmian and Atletico Madrid’s Vrsaljko in particular have long been linked with a move to Inter, Vrsaljko especially where Inter’s interest dates back to his time with Sassuolo. Zappacosta is a newer name on the shortlist and has recently welcomed the interest but has insisted he is focused on his current club Chelsea.
Darmian is understood to be valued at €20 million by the Red Devils and Vrsaljko and Zappacosta should be available for a similar price if they are to pursue either of them.
