Genoa are to talk with Eddy Salcedo in a bid to convince him to accept a transfer to Inter according to Il Secolo XIX.

Inter plan to use Salcedo, 16, in their Primavera side next term and it is understood that this is what has left him unconvinced which could be due in part to the fact he has already tasted some first team action at Genoa.

The Colombian forward was initially expected to be part of the deal that saw Inter Primavera duo Andrei Radu and Federico Valietti join the Grifone but in the end he was not included.

Last week Genoa President Enrico Preziosi confirmed that a deal had already been struck between the two clubs over the youngster but all that seems to remain now is Salcedo giving his blessing to the move before it can go through.

Il Secolo XIX further report that Genoa are looking to add Argentine international midfielder Maximiliano Meza to their ranks and would be working on a deal in synergy with Inter to make it happen.
