Fans of Villarreal are against the possible return of Borja Valero to the club according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Valero spent two seasons with the yellow submarine between 2010 and 2012 but was among a host of players to jump ship once they were relegated which left a very sour taste in the mouth’s of the club’s supporters.

The 33-year-old has drawn interest from his former club in recent weeks but it is as yet unclear whether the fans disapproval will deter the club’s management from making some kind of move for the former Spanish international, who is just one year in to a three year deal with the Nerazzurri.

Valero made 37 appearances last term across all competitions for Inter, scoring 2 goals, and due to new signings and more expected to be on the way, he could well be moved on to make way and Inter are not likely to command to big a fee for him given they only paid around €5 million last summer for him.
