Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is focusing on two main tactics for the coming season, 4-2-3-1 and 3-4-2-1 according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 4-2-3-1 is a tried and tested system of Spalletti’s which was used for almost every game last season while the 3-4-2-1 is now possible with thanks to the five new arrivals at the club thus far this transfer window, particularly those in the defensive department in Stefan de Vrij and Kwadwo Asamoah. There is one key goal to both the systems according to the report which is getting the most out of new signing Radja Nainggolan.

As for Matteo Politano, he will be used as a rotation options in some games to allow Inter to remain unpredictable. Lautaro Martinez however will be playing as understudy to Mauro Icardi in the beginning with the ultimate goal of splitting match time with his compatriot who he has a close friendship with off of the pitch.
