At least six Inter Milan players should earn more minutes during the final stretch of the Serie A campaign.

The Nerazzurri have already secured the Serie A title with a win over AC Milan ten days ago. Nevertheless, Simone Inzaghi still deployed his strongest available lineup against Torino last weekend.

But according to FcInterNews, the situation will change in the final four rounds of the season, beginning with Saturday’s encounter against Sassuolo.

The source names six players who will earn more playing time in the coming weeks.

The list doesn’t include those who are set to leave at the end of the season, namely Alexis Sanchez, Davy Klaassen, Juan Cuadrado and Stefano Sensi.

On the contrary, it features those who are looking to prove their worth ahead of the coming campaign.

Six Inter Milan Stars Looking To Prove Their Worth In The Final Weeks Of Serie A Campaign

The first name on the list is Davide Frattesi who has been Inzaghi’s ultimate super-sub this term. The Italian has been playing second fiddle for Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but will get his chances in the coming weeks.

Then we have Stefan de Vrij who will feature more prominently while Inzaghi rests Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni.

Yann Bisseck will also collect some minutes at the back, mostly at Benjamin Pavard’s expense.

The source also mentions Emil Audero who will try to convince the management to maintain his services. Many expect the Nerazzurri to ditch him in favor of signing Bento.

Marko Arnautovic is another player desperate to make an impact before the season wraps up. He could feature more regularly in the final four fixtures while Marcus Thuram earns some rest.

Finally, Tajon Buchanan will be looking to prove his worth. The Canadian winger has yet to make his full debut since joining the Nerazzurri in January.
