During his Interview in the Unicredit interview, Stankovic went through a lot of questions. Here is an excerpt of that:

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – “Atletico’s strenght is the team, whilst Real are very good to keep possession. They must pay attention to Atletico’s ability to counter, which is what makes Simeone’s side strong.”

SCG – “The club is working in this direction, but there is lot to wait more. Thohir is doing his best for Inter.”

TRANSFERS- “Nothing has yet started. We’ll see what we can do together with Ausilio and Gardi (Chief Football Administrator). Maybe we need to sell a couple of players. You need sell to strenghten other parts of the pitch. It’s hard to mention any name though at the moment. We’ll see.”

HANDANOVIC – “His words were misinterpreted. Obviously he would like to play the Champions League, but he is one of the most important players in our team and he’ll stay.”

THE BIG TEAMS – “We must shorten the distance between us the best European side, taking Juventus as an example. If we manage to reach Juventus we would automatically have started to reach the other. We must repeat what our opponents did to us after 2010.”

SENSE OF BELONGING – “It’s not easy, considering the huge amount of players coming from different leagues. Even I  found it a little bit hard when I arrived in Italy. But I’m that hard work pays off, even the coach’s work who played a lot of players this season. With 2 or 3 signings the squad will be much better.”

SAN SIRO – “Nice to see a good number of spectators this season, it means that the Interisti understood what we’re going through and want to stay close to us.”

LAST ITALIAN – “Few remember that we’re the last Italian to win it? What can we do? Emphasize Juve’s lost against Barcelona? I’m obviously joking. Today we must speak of Atletico-Real, but obviously I cherish every win at Inter.”

SIMEONE – “I hope he wins tonight. Inter’s chants for him? Nothing changes for Mancini, because he will be our coach next year. One day, when Diego’s run with Atletico will be over we might talk, but at the moment we have Roberto.”
