We have previously reported the interest in the Catania midfielder Alejandro Gomez, or Papu which he also is called. After the lost deal with Giovinco, all the focus is now directed at Gomez. More and more indicates that the 24-year-old Argentinean player soon will be leaving Catania for Inter. This is confirmed by mercato expert Alfredo Pedulla.
Papus agent, Leo Rodriguez, was yesterday in Milan to discuss the Argentinean player’s future and it looks like he’s close to Inter. According to the Italian sports newspaper, Tuttosport, the meeting yesterday between Inter and Catania was very important and serious.
