Gabi Mudingayi got injured within weeks after joining Inter earlier this summer but has recovered and is ready to compete for a place in the Nerazzurri starting line-up. Earlier today La Repubblica Bologna, a daily newspaper originating from the city he played for prior to joining the Milanese giants, published an interview with the player discussing how he has been fitting in with his new club: “I was very happy at Bologna, I would like to send a warm salute to all the fans, but please understand me, Im at Inter now. Again I say I’m at Inter now. There are people who would give their soul in order to get a chance to wear this shirt and I’m here, I have signed a 2 year contract and I’m very happy. I injured myself in the preliminary rounds of the Europa League against Vaslui which stopped me but I’m feeling good now. My objectives? The most important thing is that I’m ready when I’m needed, the competition here is very stiff” the Belgian international states before concluding by answering whether he can imagine himself returning to Bologna some time in the future: “With all due respect, right now I’m at Inter and I feel very good. I would like to send the fans my warmest affections.”
