At first Italian Sky speculated about it, then ANSA reported it and today Gazzetta dello Sport confirms it: Lucio has grown tired of life at Juventus Stadium and wants to leave the club in January. In any case, that’s the frontpage headline news of todays Gazzetta dello Sport which states that it is the lack of first team football which has disillusioned the former captain of the Brazilian national team and that he is asking to leave the Turin outfit when the winter transfer window re-opens in January. The controversial move from Inter to Juventus has not exactly gone in the direction that Lucio could have wished for it to go since, after having joined the bianconeri, the Brazilian first produced a few shocking performances during friendly matches in the pre-season, before suffering from a serious injury, from which he has now fully recovered. Despite having been in full training and having watched his team play with a 3-man central defence, Lucio has hardly seen any first team action and has at best been featured on the bench which has led to him now asking to leave in January.
