“I’m happy I can help my teammates and my team. I keep working, the less I play the more I work. Everyone wants to play, I respect my team mates and my coach. I work to get space and when I get the possibility to play I try to do it well. It’s my way to get the attention of the coach and to improve my self-esteem.
Less playing time here compared with Parma? I’m calm, I work and I’m not thinking about what could happen i January. I’m happy at Inter and my family is happy in Milan. When January comes, we could speak about whether I’ll leave, if I’ll stay or what’ll happen, however I’m satisfied with things as they are now. The quality of Inter? It’s due to the work the coach and his staff made before the championship. We’re doing well, we run a lot and are high on confidence. We know we’ll lose one day, but we’re doing everything to prevent it from happening.”
Possibilities after Maicon left:
“It’s hard to talk about it in that way, in a big team like Inter you have to try to get your space for every game that goes. I believe a player needs to play a lot of games in a row to prove his worth in the best way. I don’t want to put pressure on Inter with this, I need to work and I try to do well every game. IT’s true I got more playing time after Maicon left, I’m happy here and we’ll see what happens in january.”
