Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder could make a January move to AnzhiMakhachkala, according to reports in the Russian Press.

The Moscow-based newspaper Izvestia claim that Guus Hiddink’s side will make a €20m bid for the Nerazzurri midfielder in the winter transfer window, but may have to fight out with Manchester United for his signature.

The paper have reported that the San Siro club will have to sell the Netherlands international to comply with the new Financial Fair Play rules being enforced, as his salary goes far beyond the limits President MassimoMoratti has imposed on the club.

Sneijder has had an injury-ravaged season so far, playing just five League games for Andrea Stramaccioni’s men.
