After last night’s Europa League fixture with Neftci Baku which ended in a 2-2 draw, SempreInter.com caught up with Marko Livaja who netted a brace to see his view on his own as well as the teams performance:
Marko congratulations in scoring 2 goals, what did you think about tonights match?
“Thank you, I think they were a little bit lucky when they scored their second goal, I missed an absolute sitter to give us a 3-1 lead and Nagatomo hit the cross-bar but this i football. We lose the last 2 minutes of the extra time because they scored so late in the game.”
What did you make of the sitiuation with Cassano? Was it a penalty?
“Yes from what I’ve seen watching the replay’s I think it’s a clear penalty.”
Which one of the more younger and in-experienced players impressed you the most?’
“I think everyone performed well, it was the first time they played in the Europa League and I thought everyone put in a good performance and no-one was better than anyone else. It wasa good match because it was the first time we played together.”

Om några år kommer Livaja bläddra bland foton från de här tiden och skämmas röven av sig när han inser hur löjligt hans halvrakade ögonbryn ser ut.
För övrigt, riktigt grymt av er att få en intervju med honom.
