Julio Alejandro Tymczyszynz, Catania-striker Gonzalo Bergessio’s agent, was interviewed earlier today by Tuttomercatoweb regarding the rumours that place his client with a January transfer to Inter: “I think that a possible goodbye to Catania is impossible right now. First and foremost because Catania will have a hard time finding a replacement for him in January, therefore he will most definately stay in Sicily until June. There are several interested clubs, but Catania have no intentions of parting with Gonzalo over the next coming weeks. Simeone and Montella know him well, but Atletico Madrid have afantastic strikeforce. We have n’t been in contact with neither Atletico Madrid nor Fiorentina and Inter. I have been in contact with two other Italian clubs as well as one other English club. Either way bergessio is happy in Sicily and is under contract with Catania, therefore all first contacts have to be made with the Catania directors before talking about a possible transfer.”
