Inter is dreaming Croatian dreams. The club signed Mateo Kovacic, born 1994, from Dinamo Zagreb and is a player who is considered to be one of the greatest prospects in Europe, but it doesn’t stop there as Inter continues to watch mindfully over the enormous pool of talented young players which seem to pop up everywhere in Croatian football at the minute. Apart from Vrsaljko and Halilovic which we at SempreInter.com have already reported about, Inter are also following Jozo Simunovic closely, a central defender and former team-mate and close friend of Mateo Koviacic. Our partners at FcInterNews.it spoke exclusively to Jozo Simunovic:

Would you enjoy to one day play for Inter together with Mateo Kovacic?

“Yes, I would definately like to play in Inter together with him, it would be a dream come true. Inter is a big club, the biggest in Italy.”

How would you describe Kovacic?

“He is fast, agile and has an enormous technique. He is a central midfielder with attacking qualities. Mateo was Dinamo’s best player at such an early age as 18. I think he will do very good at Inter.”

Has he spoken to you about Inter?

“I spoke to him after he had just heard the news, he was very surprised. He is very happy, he loves Inter and I think that for him Inter is the biggest thing there is.”
