Ricky Alvarez talked to some different media after the game. He talked about the defeat in Trieste:

”We made a good first half and we also started the second half well. We tried to play the ball and did it well, but then the referee found a penalty which again didn’t exist and then we lost the game, and Cagliari took over the game.

If we still believe in a Champions League spot?

” We have to think about every game, first of all we have the match on Wednesday against Roma in the Italian Cup, it’s an important game and we will give everything to go all the way. Inter are a team that deserves to play a final and be in contest in all fronts”.

”On the personal level, I am very happy to have the confidence to play, but the team is more important and we didn’t get any good result with us. I always try to ask for the ball sometimes, I maybe do wrong a thousand times, but I like to play football and my friends gives me the strength to continue. The injury is gone and I’m starting to find the rhythm of the game. But now we have to keep playing”.

The pitch?

”It was not good, I wanted to change direction then suddenly you slip. but it’s not an excuse, it was the same for Cagliari”.
