Fredy Guarin’s agent has denied reports the midfielder wants to leave Inter and says there has been no interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Colombian player joined Inter in January 2012 from Porto, but there has been speculation he could leave the Serie A club in the summer. Tottenham have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old after Guarin played under Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas during his time at Porto. However, Guarin’s representative Marcelo Ferreyra has rubbished the rumours and confirmed the player is determined to be a success at Inter.

-These are all lies, neither Fredy nor I are looking for new solutions. He wants to improve and win with Inter, Ferreyra told calciomercato.it.

-We know nothing about Tottenham’s interest and I think there is nothing. Given the bond we have with Villas-Boas, if there was anything we would be the first to know about it.

-I’m not talking with any clubs because Fredy wants to stay at Inter.
