According to Portuguese Diario Digital, Inter is very much in the race to secure Fernando’s services for next season. The Brazilian midfielder refuses to renew his contract with Porto, which expires in June 2014. This means that Porto have to cash in on him this summer in order not risk losing him in June 2014 for free. Inter have been rumoured to very keen on signing the player and a transfer fee of around 7 million Euros should be enough to loosen Porto’s grip on the player.
