According to some Italian pages Cristian Chivu has been reported to say in romanian medias that he wanted to kick the doctor Benazzo who operated him. Something that Chivu himself denies:
“I have never thought about arguing with professor Benazzo, neither have I though about arguing with Inters medical stab. Even if it isn’t my responsibility what the newspapers publish, I want to excuse myself to the doctors that are involved for the false news spread that influence their names and reputation. On the contrary of what I am supposed to have said, I have always appreciated their work and I see them as doctors of international class.”
