SempreInter.com has been reporintg the latest Inter-news in English as it happens for well over a year now. Starting today and on every Monday, Wedneday and Friday, SempreInter.com editors Nima Tavallaey, Siavoush Fallahi, Danny Hansen and Hampus Kärki will be publishing editorials, expanding on all things Inter. First up is Siavoush Fallahi.
Inter 2012/2013. Seldom has the club ever experienced a more failed season, throughout the clubs history. 16 losses in the Serie A in one season. A negative goal difference caused by a defence who conceded an astonishing 57 goals. This whilst having one of the best goalkeepers in the world, which says it all really. The number of conceded goals is almost matched by the number of injuries which the players in the worlds most beautiful club have suffered from. All in all over 50 injuries during this past season.
Despite all this what worries me the most isn’t what’s happening on the pitch. The excuses or explanations are too many in order to be able to make an accurate an precise analysis of Andrea Stramaccioni’s performance which saw Inter end the season in a disastrous ninth position which means that the club won’t take part in any European competitions next season. What worries me is the situation which has been created outside the pitch where the problems have been evident for all to see for several years. A management which isn’t pulling in one direction. Directors who can’t live up to what’s expected of them. Chaos and confusion.
I live my life and encourage others to live their lives to never be afraid of making mistakes. It’s thorugh making mistakes that we learn, grow stronger and hopefully move forward as more intelligent individuals. If not more intelligent, then at least more fearless and more experiences. This prnciple doesn’t seem to apply to Inter. Several times managers have made requests which haven’t been granted. Champions have departed and the substitutes haven’t been close to filling their shoes. Legends have been treated in a disrespectfull way. Signings have been made in the last minute and managers have been hung out to dry whilst being torn apart by the group of hyenas who work in the Italian media.
The Director of Sport, Marco Branca, is the same person that he was on the 22nd of May 2010, after having concluded one of the best transferwindow’s ever yet refusing to take credit, dedicating the treble to the supporters. Since Branca is a reserved individual who rarely if ever talks to the press after the matches, it could seem that Inter could do with a person inside the club who stands up for the club in the press. Mazzarri is a string character who is very experienced in the Serie A and the Italian system. I have no doubts regarding MAzzarri but if even Mourinho had Oriali by his side when the worst storms were blowing, shouldn’t Mazzarri also have someone to have his back at Inter? This isn’t only about the handling of the media, but also about the transfermarket and the upcoming season.
Because where there have been errors made, these need to be rectified. Inter can’t be afraid of making mistakes or to try something new if the club wants to move forward. Some mistakes are however not new, it’s time for Moratti & co to stop repeating the same ones over and over again. Moratti can no longer expect Branca to purchase Ferrari’s with the budget that barely gets you a bicycle. Thisin turn will lead to Inter making the same mistake in giving the clubs manager Schelotto instead of Lucas or Lavezzi. This way we will never go forward, although we remain hopeful during the summer transfer market as well as when looking forward to next season. We most definitely won’t have the same absurd injury situation as we have had during this season (knock on wood), we have had a good manager brought in and a few good new signings have already been made. But in order for us to truly be able to take Inter back to where we belong, the first change needs to come from outside the pitch.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, but don’t dare to repeat the same ones over and over again.

Excellent Job Guys.. Keep Up the great work
i think the biggest transfer mistake is when inter let eto’o go. Inter choose to keep sneijder then eto’o. its was the biggest mistake they made.
and in the previous season, when summer, they can sell sneijder more expensive than in january. their reason is to cut sneijder salary. its not make sense
Only shitplayers linked??? Nainggolan, Fernando, Paulinho, Rami, Lavezzi to name a few…. If you can name better players that would sign for a team not in CL???
Branca (and Moratti) got us Kovacic , one of the brightest talents around. Andreolli, Campagnaro , Botta are ready for next season FOR FREE (not sure bout Andreolli? free?) and Icardi , a big talent, and Laxalt (witch I know nothing about)
I’d say the biggest mistake Moratti have done since Mourinho left, is missjudging the managers he’s brought inn, but this time i think he got that right.. FORZA INTER!!!
