The former Inter-striker, Mauro Zaraté, released a statement on his official Twitter account late last night where he expressed his joy over finally being free from his contract with Lazio: “From now on I’m free, finally I can go and play elsewhere. Now I am happy again. I want to thank all the supporters, I have given everything for this shirt.”
However, the arbitration panel which is set to make a ruling on his dispute with Lazio, is yet to reach a final decision, but this doesn’t seem to stop Mauro Zaraté from celebrating.
