The great interest in Wellington from European clubs apparently creates a lot of confusion among Sao Paolo’s directors. After Sao Paolo lost yesterday’s match against Corinthians, the club’s vice-president Carlos Augusto de Barros Silva, was interviewed  and admitted that several European clubs have showed interest, particularly Inter: “I know that the player has received inquiries and offers from several major European clubs. When such offers arrive it’s difficult to keep a player and we are well aware that this is currently happening to  Wellington. ”

Meanwhile, another director, Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes, vice president for sports section, assured that Sao Paolo’s directors “don’t have the slightest interest in negotiating a possible sale to Europe.”

The situation seems, as said, confused, but Inter like the player’s attitude and await developments.
