In today’s paper-edition of Gazzetta dello Sport the newspaper lists 5 reasons why Inter are to be regarded as potential contenders to win the Serie A already this coming season:
- Mazzarri is the most reliable coach the team has had since Mourinho,
- Handanovic is one of the best goalkeepers in the world,
- The wingers: perfect to play a football where the aim is to come forward and attack space with speed. Now Isla arrives,
- Kovacic is just like Hamsik. The young Croats position on the pitch will be fundamental,
- The strikers of yesteryear (Milito) together with the strikers of the future (Belfodil and Icardi)
We need to be realistic. Top 3 and a CL spot should be our number 1 priority, everything else a bonus .
I think the above reasons are a bit too ambitious, Juventus and fiorentina have strengthened an already strong squad, the same would go wtih Roma however past seasons taught us that Roma is always an enigma in serie A. Also never rule out Milan, i am not trying to sound pessimistic however i truly beleive that it will not be as disastrous as thr previous years
