“I talked to Mazzarri, when I saw the concentration of the players I expected a good game and instead they played a great one. Everyone did well on a difficult stadium to play at, I saw some good football.”
Alvarez and Jonathan have been re-valued, did you believe that?
“If we bought them it is because we saw something good in them and Alvarez even proved something last season. Now they are at a high level, I’m happy for the investment we made and for Mazzarri who has made them grow.”
How far can this team go, the fans are already thinking about Juventus?
“If they keep this concentration and do this well they can go far.”
Isn’t it unlucky that the game against Juventus is played after the national break?
“No, the game is played when it’s played. The games are always great and this is fine.”
Who is the player that has surprised you the most in the championship until now?
“I knew Campagnaro was good, but he has been better than I expected him. I can say the other players have shown the qualities I thought they had.”
