I want you to sit down, take a breath and imagine. Think about letting 5 goals in against Udinese. Think about losing twice against Siena. Think about finishing 9th and losing 16 times. Think about letting more than 50 goals in. Think about playing the Europa League. Think about missing out on the Champions League. Think about all of the losses and injuries that Inter has suffered from the last few years. Then I want you to imagine a beautiful sunny day where you wake up to your favorite team who is going to play against Sassuolo.

I want you to imagine the beautiful white shirt with a black and blue emblem on. I want you to see the club”s president in the stands to watch the team, in an away game against Sassuolo at a cozy stadium. The stadium is filled by the Curva Nord, singing and enjoying themselves, supporting the team. Sounds good doesn’t it? Then you imagine Inter going out on the field to play a perfect game. Everyone does what they have to, the defense is perfect, the offense is perfect. The hero Milito who has been injured and out for more than seven months comes on to score two goals. The youngster Taider who many supporters doubted before he came, plays another impressive game after the one against Juventus, and scores as well.

The “reborn” Ricky Alvarez scores, assists, makes skill moves and does everything that those who have supported him knew he could. The wingers Jonathan and Nagatomo, produce assists, quality runs and are solid in defense, just like the coach wants them to.  The old veteran and leader Cambiasso who has been accused for everything from being lazy, fat, useless and so on gains posession for his team, instructs the rest with Mazzarri’s tactics and even gets to score a beautiful goal. Imagine a coach who has given the team an identity, athletic freshness and good play. Imagine being a supporter to F.C. Internazionale, and get to see all of this after a season after where we finished on a disastrous 9th place.

Then I want you to stop imagining.
