Dejan Stankovic bid farewell to the Serbian national team becoming the most capped player as he played for 10 minutes two days ago. These were his words to Uefa after the game:
“I felt double emotions. I am happy and proud since I’ve had the opportunity to do this. On the other side I cried a lot since a big part of my life has been finished. I want to smile and be happy, but it was a tough day. I’ve given 100% in every game and I have many memories, both good and bad ones.”
