With Erick Thohir’s entrance at Inter, Walter Mazzarri can expect to receive a belated Christmas gift men the transfermarket opens in January. At least that’s what transfermarket expert Alfredo Pedullá believes in an editorial he published on his own website.
“Inter need to improve the quality on the wings, through maybe one or two transfers. Also it wouldn’t hurt if a midfielder which elevated the quality of the squad were to arrive either. In such a scenario Inter would go back to trying to sign Radja Nainggolan but as always it all depends on Cellino as well as which position Cagliari has in the league table these coming weeks. Usually Cagliari don’t sell important players in January, during the past few years Cagliari have only sold one important player, namely Alessandro Matri to Juventus. Therefore we will have to wait and see what will become of Nainggolan.”
