Rafa Benitez, known as the fat Spanish waitor in the eyes of Interisti ‘round the world, just can’t stop slamming Inter in every possible interview he attends to. He does remind me a little bit of the bitter 14-year old girl that hates the guy that she is in love with, just because he did not give her the love, affection and confirmation that she was convinced she had coming her way. Now, she just talks about what a horrible human being he is, yet if he snapped his fingers, she’d be back faster than Rafa Benitez running if you snap your fingers at the local Bistro next to the training facilities in Caserta, Naples. “Waitor!”
The main objective in the large constitution of bitching that Rafa Benitez have rammed with force up in the face of the Inter-fans, just like a cake in the face of a famous Swedish extreme right-wing-politician, is based on one point and one point only; He did not get the players he wanted. I don’t mean to be harsh or critical or anything like that. Just a simple little question, really. Rafa Benitez took over Inter after José Mourinho’s two years in the black and blue side of the city of Milan. A team that won everything. Yes, everything. The league, the cup and the Champions League. Diego Milito became the runner up for the title as “capocannoniere”, most goals scored in Serie A with 22 goals. Seven goals behind Antonio Di Natale’s 29. That was just in the Serie A. Julio Cesar got the price as the world’s best goalkeeper. Maicon got price as the best defender, Wesley Sneijder as the best midfielder. Diego Milito got two prices, one for best striker and one for player of the year by the UEFA. Not to mention players at the top of their careers like Stankovic, Motta, Samuel, Cambiasso, and Captain Zanetti. So my question is simple: What more could you possibly ask for with that team at your disposal?
You were not happy with that squad, Ralfie-boy, so who did you want to bring in to reinforce those pieces of crap that was wearing the Inter-jersey at that time? Javier Mascherano, Lucas Leiva and Dirk Kuyt. Mascherano is a good player, I have no arguments there, but Kuyt? Nothing against Dirk Kuyt who was really good at that time, but who would he place on the bench? Double scorer from the Champions League-final Diego Milito or the physiological monster Samuel Eto’o? Like the Inter-fans would ever accept that. Like the Inter-fans would ever accept Lucas Leiva stepping on to the pitch telling Esteban Cambiasso “ey, sit your ass down on the bench and go fetch my water, boy.” Not likely.
This leaves me to wonder how Aurelio De Laurentiis and rest of Napoli’s staff, players and fans feel as Rafa Benitez seems so bitter over his time in Inter and refuses to let it go. If one could be so mad, three years later, over not getting Lucas Leiva and then comes to a club that gives you everything you could ever ask for, why not say “thank you” to your current employers and shut the motherflipping pie-hole? Since I’m personally so in love with the metaphor between football and romantic relationships, I’m going to take it one step further:
Who sits around the dinner table with the woman you love and her family…and bitch and moan about your ex for the entire meal? Move on….
Rafa?
A moron beaten by Atletico-what and Diego-who with 2-0?
Beach please.
Old, fat and lazy rafa
Don’t forget the likes of Cambiasso and Stankovic game out and said that Rada told the players to forget what they achieved and took the picture down form the Triplete, and completely changed the way things worked overnight. Rafa was like the unpopular kid jealous of the cool kid (Jose)getting all the girls
Tell d idiot shut up
Couldn’t agree more.. We have the same ideas here.. Haha
No one is in dire need of a cake in the face like the pathetic Rafa… i would gladly do it for all interistas
hahaha you got the point bro.. rafa should shut his fuckin mouth and just move on
Well written
