Andrea Ranocchia was interviewed exclusively by Sky Sport where he chose to deny all rumors which say that he will be leaving the club in January.
“I live year by year, i go to the pre-season camp with Inter as I have done every year whilst being focused on doing the best I can for Inter. Then there are discussions regarding contracts which will be held when the time is right. Every time the transferwindow opens my name is mentioned, which is something I interpret as a sign that I’m appreciated and which makes me happy but as I said: I leave my life by the year from July until the end of the season, then we will see. The rumors don’t bother me because every year they say that I’m leaving but in the end I always end up staying.”
Then Ranocchia was asked to give his thoughts on Inter’s season: “There are many teams who have midweek commitments which steal energy. I would like to win the league with Inter and I think about winning the league with Inter. We have to take advantage of the fact that we’re not participating in any cups and that we have the time to prepare for evey match in every aspect as well as taking advantage of the fact that we come to every match feeling rested and fresh. Then of course the season is long and we will give everything we have until the end.”
