Transfermarket guru Gianluca Di Marzio writes in his editorial on his homepage about Inter’s actions during the re-opening of the transferwindow in January.
“January is a time of opportunities on the transfermarket, sometimes things happen when you least expect them to. Such as with Nani for example. He extended his contract with United towards the end of the summer, a 3-year contract with an option of a 2-year extension but the feeling between him and Moyes just isn’t there. And therefore, the possibilities of a departure have re-emerged again. Inter, who are looking for a fast and technical attacker, are considering to make a move for him whilst Juventus will try to sign him again as the Portuguese player would be ideal for Conte and his plans to change formations where Nani would suit well into a 4-3-3.”
