Inter’s Managing Director, Marco Fassone, was interviewed by RAI shortly after the match between Inter and Sampdoria.

“Right now we’re in a transition period where we are trying to understand the new President’s mentality, to follow him and go directly in the direction that he is pointing in. Roles? Right now no big changes will occur, the President wants a structure in the club that is more like a streamlined corporate structure, he has explained this to the entire management. Everyone has been confirmed more or less in their current positions and no news regarding this issue is to be announced any time soon.”

Thohir is very determined, you can see this from the rhythm he gives in all the meetings we’ve had during his second visit here in Milano. He has very clear ideas and objectives, he has indicated that he wants to go down a certain path. He is gentle but firm. The transfermarket? The ideas are clear, just like the indications that Thohir has given the Sporting directors have been clear. If we will do anything in January? Yes, if there is a possibility.”

A short while later he was interviewed by Sky where he began by talking about Thohir’s reaction to this match: “He was concentrated on the game, I didn’t pay much attention to his reaction. Of course there was a little bit of disappointment, but that didn’t just apply to the President. The draw today was a result of a match that wasn’t played very well. The bitterness comes from other results, matches which has prevented us from making the jump and being even closer to the top teams.”

“If we’ll be concluding big deals in January? I dpn’t think nor talk in these terms. There are very clear lines which have been drawn up by Ausilio and Branca and we will do what we need to do based on our needs. I don’t see a big difference between Moratti and Thohir, everyone wants Inter to be one of the biggest clubs. We want to return as asoon as possible to this level, both on the pitch and financially. Thohir maybe has a different method to reach this goals we will adapt to them.”
