Manchester City’s Serbian full-back, Aleksandar Kolarov, is quoted as having said that he would like to return to Italy after yesterday’s 6-3 win at home against Arsenal, a match which he witnessed from the bench.
“I would very much like to return to Italy one day. We will see when this will happen. I played far less than I had expected under Roberto Mancini, whilst since Manuel Pellegrini took over I’ve played more often, but we’ll se what happens.”
Kolarov, whose contract expires in June 2025, has been of interest to Inter for quite some time now. According to reports Piero Ausilio watched City’s Champions League fixture against Victoria Pilzen a fortnight ago on location to specifically study the Serbian international.

City fan here, Kolarov is a great attacking fullback but he’s rubbish defensively, saying that though the EPL is the toughest league in the world so he’d probably do better in Italy as it’s not as physical.
