Congratulations on the win, what are your thought on the match?
“I think what was important was our character which in the end I think helped us to win the match. When we began to retain possession of the ball, when we started playing it around more, they lost their rhythm which we took advantage of.”
What do you think of the penalty situation which wasn’t awarded?
“I don’t think anything of the referee. However, I think that everyone have seen that it was a clear penalty, but I don’t want to get into a discussion.”
How important was Kovacic tonight after he was brought on?
“It was very important. Kovacic is a player of the highest level, when he came on he gave the match a lot of personality, which meant that with him we were able to retain possession of the ball much more and it improved our passing.”
Is it easier for you to play with Kovacic on the pitch?
“Yes, I think so because he creates more space for us. Also he installs fear in the opponents because he’s a player that’s unstoppable when going forward.”
