Inter want Gaston Ramirez on loan and Alfredo Pedullá writes about the latest developments on his homepage.

Ramirez just hasn’t adjusted to the rigors of premiership Football. Yes we have had a bad run, but it is not because we haven’t been scoring goals or playing some decent football. With pretty well the whole of our defence struggling with illness and injuries. It is reasonable to expect we would have a tough few weeks. Ramirez on the pitch would have done nothing to improve that. If it is true about the loan it may be a good chance for him to get his confidence back and maybe try again a bit later in the premier.
showtime – you clearly haven’t seen Ramirez at Southampton. In his time at the club it’s fair to say that he has had one good game – the 4-1 vs Aston Villa over a year ago. He has shown signs of talent and when a team is built around him he might be a good player. However, his play has been sloppy and at times lazy, regularly losing the ball. Southampton play as a team and he doesn’t fit in. Let’s also not forget he started the first game of the Confed Cup and was substituted at half time. He didn’t start another match – clearly his national manager is also a ‘joke’ I suppose.
Showtime, you clearly are no Saints fan, Do I smell fish here somewhere? Odd really, being Christmas and all that! Mind you, if I came from the Pompey end of the M27 I would expect to be used to the smell of turkeys by now.
However, should it be the case that ‘Showtime’ is not a typically disgruntled and jealous Portsmouth fan, then I have to assume that he/she doesn’t really know very much about Southampton Football Club and the progress made under Mauriccio Pochettino. Do some homework.
