After recent rumours that Inter had found an agreement with Torino for their wing back Danilo D’Ambrosio, Tuttosport has this morning given an update on the situation. The Turin based daily writes that the key to the deal could be Inter’s Ruben Botta who has been registered with Livorno for logistical reasons (EU quota). The Argentine has returned to full training with Inter at Appiano Gentile following recovery from his serious knee injury sustained last season. The idea of a co-ownership could suit both parties as Torino are keen not to lose D’Ambrosio for zero when his contract expires this summer. Inter meanwhile could save some cash on the deal by inserting half of Botta’s card. Now the player must also be consulted as to whether he is open to the project in Torino, if Botta is not included Inter could still close the deal but it would have to be in the formula of a cash transaction.
