Supporting the report from Tuttosport earlier this week, Il Corriere dello Sport today confirms that this year’s finances for Inter will be in the red to the tune of around €70 million when the accounts close in June. In light of this, all transfers will need to be paid for by money generated from outgoing transfers so to not complicate these figures any further. The report also mentions that things aren’t about to get any easier for Thohir and his partners, especially if the club fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.

Thohir must understand that in order to reach CL and become one of the top teams in the world, Inter needs to develop its youth, find a right coach to build a young and sustainable team, and make several crucial investments. We can’t go far with this Mazzarri team! We have to admit it. We have the best youth in Europe, but we don’t have a coach to develop them to play for the first team regularly. Where are Benassi, Bianchetti, Caldirola, Bardi, MBaye, Duncan, Romano, Bessa, Longo? We sold or loaned them out instead of developing them in house!!! Shame. Now Inter is looking for mediocre players? It is a real shame. Now Inter has a lot of squad, but fully dependent on Handanovic, Cambiasso and Palacio. If I were Thohir, I would sack Mazzarri and sign AVB and bring our youth back and make 2-3 crucial signings including Fernando and Lamela. Longo is well matured, but he has never been given a playing time. Remember, he was the best central striker in U21 champions league. He can be the next Vieri, but unfortunately no coach at Inter had seen this.
It’s a shame to see Inter in this situation but the blame is on Moratti because he did not create a model that can be self sustained and now we are paying.
It will be at least five years from now to see Inter get in a place where it can fight for a scudetto and another 5 to fight for the Champions league or at least semifinals…
We are way of but way of from teams like Bayern, Manchester teams, the two spanish ones etc.
Be calm because it is going to be a series of long very long seasons.

Its so funny that the team with one of the best youth players in italy if not in europe didn’t do anything to promote their youth to the main team. If Thohir really want to do the arsenal’s way, then start using your youth! Such a waste that the youth champions in primavera can’t show their worth for Inter. Also such a waste that Olsen whom considered as one of european jewel (same tittle with Kovacic) can’t prove himself that he’s worthy to replace Cambiasso (kinda missing Stramala here though). I’m just waiting for Thohir’s next step for his statement about young Inter, hopefully its not just another lip service.

All the upcoming investments and all the BS? And this guy actualy talked about signing messi? Sure it was a joke.. Like all his promises.. If Inter dont make it a top 3.. We’re heading back to the 90’s and start of 2000.. And not in the good way 90’s I mean no scudetto, no CL, no coppa Italia.. Can we really offord another bad seasson and no CL ? this guy thohir is bad luck. since his arrival, inter has experience dip in form and he seems not ready to splash the cash. I still wonder why morrati had to sell the club in the 1st place consider there might be little or no changes to our financial status. I just hope things change to our benefit.
thohir invest to get more income. inter need to be in CL to get more income. if not it will be a long long way to go to CL coz team like fiorentina, As Roma, Juve, napoli and even milan will invest to go to CL. soon or later thohir will realise investing is the only way to reach CL = MONEY = Well know Worldwide = More Money. Before its too late.
