During the last few hours more and more rumors have emerged which state that Inter are trying to swoop on Lazio’s Brazilian international midfielder Hernanes.

This has now been confirmed by transfermarket Gianluca Di Marzio who late last night on his show on Italian Sky ‘Speciale Calciomercato’, revealed that Inter has already contacted Lazio regarding the availability of Hernanes whose contract expires in June 2015, whilst waiting to conclude a sale of either Ranocchia or Guarin (where the former is being watched carefully by scouts from Turkish giants Galatasaray).

Walter Mazzarri has expressly asked Inter’s directors to sign Hernanes who already have a deal in principle in place with the players entourage where the parties have agreed that the player will earn 2,5 million Euro’s per year until June of 2017. However, before any such deal materializes Inter must first sell at least one out of the duo Guarin and Ranocchia.
