Inter has begun to prepare for their departure to Genoa. Compared to the match against Chievo, Mazzarri may choose to start with Guarin again (who’s available after the suspension) or Taïder to have more security for the defense. This results in an abundance of options in midfield and can give some doubts about the formation, and Cambiasso’s position. We’ll see if Mazzarri chooses to play with Kovacic and Alvarez behind Palacio, or if he chooses to play a 3-5-1-1 with Guarin as a “seconda punta”, or as second striker behind Palacio. That setup could put the young Croatian back on the bench.

Problem with kova is he is still afraid on attack. He can move the ball nicely and has good instincits but hesitates infront of net — and if you’re playing as a CAM that cannot be the case… if you’re playing in a pirlo role and you want to be a distributor that is more possible.
Hate 3 man defense
I want to see this!!
Handanovic
Campagnaro-Ranocchia-Rolando-Jesus
Cambiasso
Alvarez-Kovacic-Nagatomo/Botta
Palacio-Milito/Icardi/Puscas
4-1-3-2
I absolutely agree with this formation! 4 defenders, Cambiasso back to his core position as DMF to aid defenders. Also I think now Nagatomo can be considered as a side midfielder than a defender, cause he’s more agile in attacking than defense, also with his great positioning in attack.
Put him and Guarin on the bench start Milito!
ALL I WANT is confirmation that Kovacic is the core of a future Inter….
(and maybe Diego Simone as Coach 😉
DAMN you Mazzarri!!!
I want to start with 2 strikers dammit!
