Gianluca di Marzio on Sky reports that, in an unbelievable turn of events, Inter has stopped the deal for the swap between Vucinic and Guarin. Something that has made Juventus very angry, and something that is said to have to do with the anger of the supporters for the swap. The players still want to complete their respective moves and yet we have to see what happens.

I agree with the point on Isla.
Vucinic and Guarin are not a fair market value swap. What would be a fair swap (and beneficial to both teams) would be for the two refused player movements to go thru for each other. Isla was worth 19million and has played so little (like twice SINCE the Lichtsteiner injury) that has value has naturally decreased, while Guarin came in for 11million and should see an increase.
That is a perfect exchange. Guarin’s talent would be maximized at Juventus, without playing either him or anyone else out of position (like at Inter) and Isla…Isla would only give depth at RWB. He’s much like Vidal. You place him next to Cambiasso and suddenly Inter have an incredible midfield. Also, Alvarez would be allowed to play in his more natural AM position, considering there would be forward depth and considering Isla would substantiate the middle of the park.
I would prefer Cambiasso to stay at Inter, but if they ever move him they could play Isla and Kovavic together in the center. Kovacic is, for me, much like Verratti. That’s how they use him for Croatia and that’s where he’s far more impressive.
